IP Security

The fourth section is related to the IP configuration not directly related to a physical interface. SNMP Parameters: list of SNMP servers that are default trap destinations or valid SNMP request generators. Additional entries can be added after installation. These values are used during installation to set up SNMP configuration files. It also contains some security parameters.

Enable DoD: Enable Security Hardenings of OSV(Choices Yes, No)

SNMP Servers

Address: Specify FQDN or IP. This is normally the NMC IP Address.

Port: Specify Trap destination port. This number is currently unused and will be ignored. Defaults to port 162 currently

 

Version: Specify Version Snmp Server:NCPE can support both v2 and v3 SNMP Servers. Defaults to v2c for V2 Servers and v3 for V3 Servers



Sec Name: Specify Security Name for Snmp Server:Defaults to public for V2 Servers and to SnmpV3User for V3 Servers



Auth Level: Specify Auth Level for V3 Snmp Server:Defaults to AuthPriv and possible choises are AuthPriv, AuthnoPriv,noAuthnoPriv



Auth Prot: Specify Auth Protocol for V3 Snmp Server:Defaults to SHA and possible choises are SHA, MD5



Priv Type: Specify Privacy Type for V3 Snmp Server:Defaults to DES and possible choises are DES, AES



License Servers: Specify FQDN or IP.

License Agent Port: License Agent Port on HiQ. It must match port specified during installation.
